Empowering Tomorrow’s Engineers with a STEM Careers Presentation

Last week, Walsh’s Geotechnical Engineer, Maddie Groves, took the lead in inspiring the next generation of engineers at St. Philip Howard School in Chichester.

The event provided Year 8 students with an opportunity to explore potential educational paths. Maddie, our passionate geotechnical engineer, introduced them to STEM careers, focusing on geotechnical engineering, a field many were unfamiliar with.

During the session, Maddie showcased Walsh’s projects in London, giving students insight into the breadth of opportunities in engineering. She shared practical wisdom from her experiences, highlighting the importance of resilience and adaptability in our work.

These events reflect Walsh’s commitment to nurturing young talent and promoting a passion for engineering. We thank Maddie for her dedication in sparking curiosity and paving the way for future leaders in our industry.

Stay tuned for more initiatives aimed at empowering and inspiring the engineers of tomorrow.
